Visual3D Tools Landmark definition: target
Wrapping up our basic landmark definition tutorials, this video demonstrates how to define a landmark based on an existing target or other landmark.
This tool is ideal for tracking an anatomical location that can be identified in a static trial but cannot be accurately tracked in a dynamic trial due to skin movement artefact or other factors. Defining a landmark that corresponds to an existing target allows you to have a reference point in dynamic trials, even if there is no actual marker at that location.
