Visual3D Tools Landmark definition: 2 points
Continuing our discussion of landmarks, we focus in this video we on how to use Visual3D to define a landmark using two points.
Markers are the most common way to track points with a motion capture system, but not all points of interest can be tracked by markers. If a point of interest is located on a line between two markers (or two other landmarks), you can use them to define a landmark on that line.
For example, we know that the knee joint center is located approximately in the middle between the medial and lateral femoral epicondyle markers. Using those two markers as reference, we can track the knee joint center in Visual3D.
