Visual3D Principles Target Pattern Recognition
Events aren’t always easy to identify from the data itself, however, we can use pattern recognition to get around the problem. In this tutorial, we explain how to use target pattern recognition to use identify events based on patterns with events elsewhere in the same trial or in other trials. Essentially, if you can identify an event using a device, Visual3D will allow you to identify the same event using a similar pattern when you do not have said device data available. An example is to identify gait events from force plate data while the subject is on the force plate, and recognize similar patters when the subject is no longer stepping on a force plate, but still walking.
