Visual3D Basics
Unit 1:
Building your first biomechanical model
Chapter 3: Loading C3D files in Visual3D
To get started in Visual3D, the first step is to load your files. In this chapter, we show you how to open C3D files of your motion trials.
Once the files are loaded into your workspace, we show you how to view the C3D hierarchy and graph data. Of course, all we really have in the workspace – at this point – is raw data.
In order to obtain biomechanical data, we must build a biomechanical model. To do this, we load our static calibration file that we can then use in the next chapter to define the segments.
