Build a biomechanical model and a pipeline in 20 minutes
Enjoyed offering a Visual3D workshop at the Qualisys User Group Meeting in June of 2022. It was a great way to quickly show how to build a biomechanical model and a pipeline in 20 minutes.
Using the same data and methods we use in Visual3D Basics, we built a lower-body biomechanical using a static trial. Then applied that model to gait trials, from which we calculated a few joint moments using the pipeline.
To follow along with the workshop, you can download the data below and perform the same steps as we did.
If you would like to learn more about building biomechanical models in Visual3D, for example defining segments for a Conventional Gait Model, you can enroll for as little as $95/month.
