Visual3D Tools Segment joint definition: extra target
This video shows how to specify an extra target when needed to define a segment’s orientation.
Two pieces of information are needed to define each end of a segment in Visual3D. If only one marker or target is available for each end, the joint radius can be used as the second piece of information. However, this information alone cannot obtain axial rotation.
Specifying a third target is necessary to track the position and orientation of the segment with six degrees of freedom.
